Two huge plate rolls have been sold into the backyard of Faccin in the Italian industrial town of Brescia. The first machine is a 10’ x 8-1/4”  (3100mm x 210mm) cold forming plate roll sold to CIB srl which manufactures pressure vessels for various industries such as petrochemical, textile, pharmaceutical and steam drums to name a few.  A second machine, even larger, followed the first machine.  It is 11-1/2’ x 10-1/4” cold rolling (3500mm x 260mm).  The top roll on this monster machine is 53” (1350mm) with 5,000 tons of pressing force. The buyer, C.I.T.I. srl is a long time company working in the ship building and off shore oil platform industries.  If you are interested in seeing these machines in action we can arrange for tours of their factories.
