The 4RM series is a mechanical double pinching plate bending machine.  The upper roll is fixed and the lower central roll moves vertically to pinch the material via a geared transmission.  The upper and lower central rolls rotate via motor allowing the material to be fed during the bending cycle.  The two side rolls traverse along rectilinear guides to ensure effective pre-bending and forming.  All machine controls are mounted on a mobile control panel.  The lower rolls can tilt to produce cones.  The drop end or yoke is operated by a pneumatic cylinder located directly on the control console.  LED readouts can be mounted on the control console allowing the operator to monitor the position of both side rolls and the pinch roll.  The 4RM has the same operating features as a 4-roll hydraulic model, but it costs less.  Reliability during heavy duty operation means this machine is suitable for high production and accurate forming materials.  An NC can be ordered to automate the various work stages and obtain large series of identical pieces.
